Description of the Process
On roadways a truck-like device called in US “Zipper Machine” can move the temporary concrete median barrier over one lane. The movable concrete median barriers are lifted by the machine about 15 cm off of the roadway, shifted over, and then placed back down onto the roadway. This can be done in order to facilitate cars flows in opposite directions during rush hours.
